Baked Zucchini Fries

I first made these when we were doing Baby Led Weaning with our oldest, and now they are a favorite of mine. I can eat an entire tray in one sitting, just me, no one else.




2 medium Zucchini or 8 baby zucchini

2 Eggs, beaten

~2 cups Bread Crumbs

~ 1/2 cup Pecorino Romano Cheese, grated

Salt & Pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 200C (~400F)

Cut the zucchini in half and then into wedges.

Beat eggs and pour into a flat baking dish.

Combine bread crumbs, cheese, salt and pepper in another flat baking dish.

Coat the zucchini in the egg and then the bread crumbs and place on a foil lined backing sheet, and drizzle with EVOO.

Bake for 35-45 min or until the zucchini is soft and the bread crumbs are golden.
