BBQ Pork Ribs adapted for the Instant Pot. Super simple and a quick weekday meal. We serve this with rice or cornbread, and green beens.
INSTANT POT BBQ PORK RIBS
~1 to 1.5 racks per person
Baby Back Ribs
750ml Hard Apple Cider
1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
~1 cup of BBQ Sauce
Remove the connective membrane from the back of the ribs.
Add the hard apple cider and apple cider vinegar to the Instant Pot and turn on sauté until steaming.
Turn Off sauté.
Add in ribs thick-side down, or spiraled around standing up.
Place lid on and turn the vent nozzle to seal.
Click Meat/Stew button and adjust the time to 25-27 minutes (High Pressure light should be on).
5 minutes NPR (Natural Pressure Release) and then QR (Quick Release).
Be very careful when removing ribs from the pot since they are fall off the bone. Place ribs on a baking sheet, and brush all sides with BBQ sauce.
Finish in the oven at 450F (230C) or on the grill.
